  • CONTRACTING OUT OF LATROBE CRCU

    In late 2014, the Latrobe Regional Hospital announced that it would be contracting out the CRCU.  At this time, HACSU sought and received that a Labor Government would put a stop to the contracting out of our mental health services.

    Despite the policy position of the new Labor Government, the Latrobe Regional Hospital (LRH) have pursued the contracting out process of the Latrobe CRCU.

    Late last week HACSU state secretary, Lloyd Williams, assistant state sec, Paul Healey and Senior Industrial officer, Kate Marshall, visited members at Latrobe CRCU to discuss issues surrounding the potential contracting out of the service.

     

  • HACSU election result declared

    Dear members,

    I write to inform you of the HACSU election has been formally declared by the Australian Electoral Commission. The overall result, detailed below, was a resounding endorsement of Assistant Secretary Paul Healey, President Debbie Gunn and the other Lloyd Williams Team candidates winning an average 88% of the vote.
